Introduction on AWENE's toolkit

The HOW

My background in science has given me a taste for experimenting, testing, and using diverse approaches. I just love developing and fine-tuning my tool kit.

As a coach and trainer, I combine the unique expertise of HEC Executive Coaching with physical, emotional and relational Open Floor somatic practices. AWENE’s toolkit builds bridges between the body, mind and heart to boost our intelligence, performance and our coherence.
Depending on my audience I use a mix of my favorite traditional coaching tools spiced up with varying doses of body expression and non-verbal playful movement.

Traditional “mind” coaching

For traditional coaching, I like to use the tools I acquired and practiced during my Executive Coaching training at the HEC Business School. The trainers shared their expertise on traditional tools that draw on a multitude of methods - systemic, transactional analysis, NLP, personality tests, Gestalt therapy, collaborative communication, etc. - both for individual and team coaching.

These tools are invaluable for understanding our inner workings, what holds us back, and how we relate to the world.
Being an ethical coach is a continuous process, this is why I still practice with peers to learn and share new tools from my peers, and continue to be supervised.

Embodied cognition

Trust your body - Move your Mind

Life is movement. We move to experiment, interact and learn.

Two differentiating features of my approach are "Life Movement" and "Embodied Cognition". They are at the very heart of my practice, and I make subtle adjustments according to my audience and my clients, be they individuals or organizations.

involve me and I'll learn "

Experimentation is a critical source of learning
Learning is much quicker, deeper and long-term when our body language and intelligence are iinvolved. This means being fully body-mind involved and in a playful framework.

Awene’s workshops include the disruptive " Embodied cognition" approach, trusting our body and playing with movement as a laboratory space so participants can recharge energy, experiment, self-reflect, share and grow both as individuals and teams.
